REPORT FROM THE DAY’S JUMPING

The quality of jumping at the Louisburgh Show was once again outstanding for the fourth year running.  The more experienced jumpers reported it as some of the best ground they had ever jumped on.  Gabriel Slattery was victorious in both the 1.10m and the 1.20m aboard his own Castlelawn Kannan.  The 1.20m class drew a large enthusiastic crowd and there was great excitement when local rider, John Philbin, came home second on his own Carramore Oasis by Appraisal.

In the pony arena it was nail-biting stuff and the crowd’s cheers were encouraged by the judge/commentator, Noel Coleman, and the Crossmolina/Ballina contingent.
